New Port Richey man dies of injures from February accident

A New Port Richey man seriously injured when a car struck him in February has died.

Troopers said James C. Neuendorf, 66, died Saturday of injuries sustained in the accident.

On February 25th, Neuendorf was walking south along an access road off Madison Street, near the intersection of State Route 54 in New Port Richey, about 2:20 p.m.

Linda Sue Tumminelli, 65, of Spring Hill was driving a Toyota car west on the access road, near the northeast corner of the intersection. Troopers said Neuendorf walked into the path of Tumminelli's car and was struck.

Tumminelli was not charged.
