One killed, two injured in Tampa traffic accident

TAMPA — A driver was killed and his passengers injured in a single-vehicle wreck in New Tampa early Tuesday, police said.

The crash near Wild Tamarind and Stone Hedge drives caused the 1998 Honda to roll off the road.

Driver William Gallagher, 19, of Wesley Chapel was partially ejected and pinned under the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Tampa police said. The passengers, Charles Trimbl, 16, of Tampa and Camron Davis, 21, of Wesley Chapel were taken to Florida Hospital Fletcher with injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
