Parents, child injured in hit and run in Holiday

HOLIDAY — Pasco Sheriff's deputies were searching Saturday for the driver in a hit-and-run crash that injured two parents and their 4-month-old child.

The mother and father, both 17, were walking on the sidewalk near Cincinnati Drive and Chatlin Road about 3 p.m. when a blue Crown Victoria drove off the road and hit all three family members, according to the Pasco Sheriff's Office.

The baby, who was in a stroller at the time, was flown to a local hospital. The mother was also taken to a local hospital. Details about their injuries and condition were not released. The father was treated at the scene.

The driver is described a white man, 18 to 22 years old with dark hair. The Crown Victoria appeared to be roughly 14 years old, police said. Anyone with information about the driver or car is asked to contact a local law enforcement agency.
