SAN ANTONIO — The left southbound lane of Interstate 75 was shut down Monday night when a large hole opened in the roadway, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.

The lane was closed to traffic around 6 p.m. north of State Road 52 in Pasco County.

Work crews are working to repair the road, officials said, and expect to re-open it sometime overnight.
