Pedestrian critically injured in Seffner crash

SEFFNER — A 58-year-old pedestrian was critically injured Thursday night while attempting to cross a road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Patrick Michael Quinn of St. Petersburg was crossing Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard just west of Highview Road about 8:15 p.m. when he was hit by a car driven by Traci Oldham, 34, of Tampa. He was not in a crosswalk.

Troopers said Quinn hit the hood and landed in the inside lane of westbound Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Quinn was taken to Tampa General Hospital, where he was in critical condition late Thursday.
