Woman hit, killed walking across U.S. 19

A 75-year-old pedestrian was killed Saturday morning while crossing U.S. 19 near Darlington Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Marjorie Dunn was struck by a Dodge pickup driven by Shana Raymo, 33, just after midnight, according to the FHP. Raymo was driving north on U.S. 19 when Dunn walked in front of her vehicle, according to a report.

The crash remains under investigation. No charges were filed Saturday.
