TAMPA — A pedestrian was struck by a hit-and-run driver car early Friday but was expected to survive, police said.
A man walking north across Kennedy Boulevard near S Moody Avenue about 3 a.m. was hit by a silver four-door Infinity, which continued west on Kennedy.
The unidentified pedestrian was seriously injured.
Police described the Infinity as a newer model with no rims and no tint. The car has damage to the windshield and around the left front headlight.
No other details were immediately available.
