ST. PETERSBURG – The Pinellas Bayway ramp on to northbound Interstate 275 that was closed after a cement truck flipped is expected to reopen to at least one lane Thursday, officials said.
The bridge damage assessment is finished, the state Department of Transportation announced Tuesday morning. A contractor was mobilized late Monday and began replacing part of the bridge deck.
A detour is in place from the Pinellas Bayway to the U.S. 19/Interstate 275 northbound on-ramp.
The ramp has been closed since about 1 p.m. Monday.
