PLANT CITY — Two teens were flown to Tampa General Hospital Saturday evening after the sport utility vehicle they were riding in crashed into a pickup truck on State Road 60.
Just before 6 p.m., Jamarlon Hamilton, 15, of Plant City, was driving the SUV south on Horton Road when he entered the intersection at State Road 60, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
He hit the passenger side of the pickup truck heading east on SR 60. Hamilton and his passenger, Javonte D. Shaw-Young, 16, of Plant City, were listed in serious condition Saturday night.
The pickup driver, James L. Williams, 63, of Delray Beach, was taken to Brandon Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Troopers said charges are pending.
