LARGO — Police have identified the woman and two children struck by a car Monday evening on Missouri Avenue.

Sarah Arlia, 32, of Largo, was crossing the street near Commerce Drive S outside a crosswalk with her 5-year-old son, Benjamin Garguilo, and 6-week-old daughter when they were struck by a 2003 BMW heading south, police said.

Arlia remained in critical but stable condition at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg and her son was in serious but stable condition Tuesday. Her daughter, Serena Arlia, sustained life-threatening injuries, police said. The children were taken to All Children's Hospital.

The driver of the BMW was Sandra Neki, 65, who was not hurt and will not face charges.

An investigation remained under way Tuesday.
