Redington Shores motorcyclist dies in Seminole crash

SEMINOLE –– A Redington Shores man was killed Tuesday night after a car turned in front of his motorcycle, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The 29-year-old man has not been identified until next of kin has been notified, troopers said.

Around 9 p.m., Isabel Rafael Gutierrez, 51, of Clearwater, was driving a 2005 Nissan Quest westbound on Park Boulevard, troopers said. The motorcyclist and his passenger, Jordan Kaley Marcum, 29, of Seminole, were heading eastbound.

At the intersection of 128th Street N, Gutierrez turned left into the path of the motorcycle, troopers said. The motorcyclist and Marcum were ejected upon impact.

The motorcyclist died at the scene, troopers said. Marcum is listed in serious condition at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.
