NEW PORT RICHEY — In an apparent case of revenge gone wrong, a teenager lost control of her Dodge Neon and crashed into a house on Glissade Drive early Friday, causing thousands of dollars in damage, officials said.

No one was injured.

The driver rounded a curve too fast, drove across lawns, hit a couple of parked cars and crashed into the home at 4232 Glissade Drive about 1:30 a.m.

The 17-year-old driver was cited for careless driving.

Bay News 9 reported that Florida Highway Patrol troopers found eggs in the back of the girl's car. They said she and another passenger planned to hurl them at an ex-boyfriend's vehicle.

The crash caused thousands of dollars in damage to the home, according to Bay News 9. The Neon also showed damage to its front and back end.
