Rush-hour crash on Howard Frankland causes traffic backup

Authorities are working a rush-hour crash on the northbound side of the Howard Frankland Bridge that has blocked traffic.

The crash, reported about 4:35 p.m., involves injuries, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

No other details were immediately available.

It's the second rush-hour crash to tie up traffic on the bridge today. This morning, a crash on northbound Interstate 275 backed up commuters for miles on the Howard Frankland Bridge.
