SPRING HILL — A Spring Hill man has been accused of firing several shots at a car. The car's driver was not hurt.

The Hernando County Sheriff's Office gave this report: The victim arrived at a house on Hollyhock Lane about noon Saturday to pick up his son when a man, later identified as Radames Torres-Garcia, walked up and fired a shot into the vehicle through the passenger's side window.

As the victim drove off, Torres-Garcia fired two more shots toward the rear of the vehicle.

A deputy noted what appeared to be a bullet hole in the driver's side of the victim's rear bumper, and a projectile later was found in the trunk carpeting.

The victim identified the suspect as his girlfriend's uncle, but he knew him only as Tito.

Torres-Garcia, 37, of 405 Spring Haven Loop, was arrested later in the day on charges of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a felon.
