A 47-year-old St. Petersburg woman suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by an sport-utility vehicle Friday evening.
Grace Elaine Mosley was walking south across Fifth Avenue North at 22nd Street when she stepped in front of a 1997 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Lezada McKnight, according to St. Petersburg police. The SUV slammed into her just before 7:30 p.m. It's unclear who had the right of way.
Mosley was taken to Bayfront Medical Center.
The investigation continues.
