ST. PETERSBURG — Three St. Petersburg residents are in fair condition Monday morning after a Sunday night crash sent them to the hospital.
Police said Jennifer Ann Ibarguen, 48, was heading west on 38th Avenue N. before she turned her 2003 Buick SUV left onto 34th Street, heading south, at about 10 p.m.
As Ibarguen turned on a green light, a 2008 Ford vehicle heading east on 38th Avenue struck the front right fender of her Buick, police said.
Police said Ibarguen's vehicle spun about 20 yards from the intersection and stopped near the south curb line of 38th Avenue.
The Ford, driven by Jon Kenneth Carlson, 31, spun and slid across the street before it landed on the southeast corner of the intersection.
Ibarguen, Carlson and his passenger, Charles Stefanik, 31, were all taken to Bayfront Medical Center Sunday night in serious condition, police said.
The crash is still under investigation.
