ST. PETERSBURG — Rescue workers pulled a man through the back of a van Friday morning after the vehicle collided with a pickup truck.

The crash happened about 9:30 a.m. at Fifth Avenue N and 16th Street, said Lt. Joel Granata, Fire Rescue spokesman.
