ST. PETERSBURG — A two-vehicle crash that sent an SUV into a building Monday morning injured at least one person and broke a water main.
The crash happened about 9:20 a.m. at 43rd Street and Eighth Avenue S. City water department workers were repairing the main.
The crash knocked an Oldsmobile on its side, said Lt. Joel Granata, St. Petersburg Fire Rescue spokesman. A blue Ford Explorer hit a commercial building, which has not been specified.
One person was rushed to the hospital.
No further information was immediately available.
