ST. PETERSBURG — A woman was hospitalized Tuesday night after being struck by an SUV, police said.
Grace Elaine Mosley, 47, was walking south across Fifth Avenue N at the intersection with 22nd Street N about 7:30 p.m. when, St. Petersburg Police reported, it appears Mosley may have stepped onto the path of a Chevrolet Suburban. She was struck by the SUV, police said.
Mosley was taken to Bayfront Medical Center with what appeared to be life-threatening injuries, police said.
An investigation remained under way Wednesday morning.
