SAFETY HARBOR — Authorities are on the lookout for three people who ran away after crashing a stolen vehicle into a home early Wednesday morning.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, at about 1:45 a.m., a 2001 PT Cruiser driving east on Martin Luther King Jr. St. N tried to turn onto 5th Avenue N and ended up swerving off the road and into a home at 445 Martin Luther King Jr. St.

Witnesses heard the car hit the house, deputies said, and saw three people run away.

Danielle Weston, 31, who was inside the house, was not injured.

Deputies said the car was stolen from a home in Clearwater after the owner left it unlocked with a spare key inside.
