Tampa cop injured in Mexico crash leaves hospital

TAMPA — Andrea Law, the Tampa police officer injured in a car crash last month while vacationing in Mexico, has been released from Tampa General Hospital.

Law, who police said is alert and responsive, was flown to a rehabilitation center in Cleveland, her hometown. Police said she suffered a neurological injury, the extent of which wouldn't be clear until she completes rehab.
