ST. PETERSBURG — Three people were hospitalized with serious injuries after an accident Sunday afternoon on 15th Avenue S.

Injured were Nathan Anthony Williams, 20, and his passengers, Javantae Rashad Ross, 22, and Deontae Ramon Ross, 20. All are from St. Petersburg.

According to St. Petersburg police, Williams was westbound on 15th Avenue S at a high rate of speed about 2:25 p.m. in 1997 Ford Crown Victoria when he hit a curb at the intersection of 46th Street.

The Ford spun out and rolled over, hitting a chain link fence, then a small tree. It landed against another tree in the front yard of 4641 15th Ave. S, police said.

All three men were taken to Bayfront Medical Center.

No charges had been filed late Sunday. An investigation continues.
