Traffic blocked on 34th Street at 30th Avenue after serious crash in St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG — Traffic near 30th Avenue N and 34th Street was blocked on Wednesday afternoon as authorities investigated a crash that blocked the street.

The crash involved a 200 Kenworth semi-trailer truck and a 2001 white Toyota Camry, police said. One person — an occupant in the car— was taken to a local hospital as a trauma alert.
