Traffic crash snarls early morning traffic on Interstate 275

ST. PETERSBURG — Troopers were investigating a crash Monday morning that snarled traffic on Interstate 275.

The crash was reported at 7:15 a.m. and involved only one car near the Roosevelt Boulevard exit. Injuries were reported, troopers said. Southbound lanes were blocked as the Florida Highway Patrol and an ambulance arrived at the scene. All lanes were opened before 9 a.m.

The car appeared to have struck the guardrail and rolled over, Bay News 9 reported.

No further information was immediately available.
