Troopers identify two people killed in motorcycle crash in Pasco

NEW PORT RICHEY — Two people on a motorcycle were killed in a five-vehicle crash Tuesday evening that shut down a stretch of Little Road.

Arthur Clinger, 25, of New Port Richey, and Crystal Lawrence, 21, of Spring Hill, who were thrown from a 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened about 5:15 p.m. on the northbound side of Little Road, south of the Wendy's at King Helie Boulevard. According to a preliminary FHP report, Clinger, who was operating the motorcycle, rear-ended another motorcycle on the road, triggering a pile up involving three automobiles that were following behind.

The driver of the other motorcycle, John Indarato, 36, of Port Richey, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Northbay Hospital.

Traffic around the crash was detoured for hours. Troopers are asking any witnesses to the crash to call Cpl. Bromiley at (352)797-5737.
