ST. PETERSBURG — A Seminole man was killed Wednesday when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle parked on the shoulder of Interstate 275 and he was ejected from the bike, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Lorenzo Nieves, 58, was driving a 2004 Harley Davidson south in the far left lane of Interstate 275, south of Gandy Boulevard, when a 2004 Ford sport utility vehicle driven by Michelle Marshall, 48, of Clearwater, changed lanes in front of him.
Nieves swerved onto the shoulder, where a 2001 Chrysler sedan was parked. He struck the sedan and was thrown from the motorcycle. He died at the scene.
