Truck jackknifes on U.S. 19 in Palm Harbor

PALM HARBOR — A semitrailer truck carrying a bulldozer has jackknifed on U.S. 19 near the entrance to the Innisbrook.

The truck is overturned.

U.S. 19 was temporarily closed to southbound traffic at Glenn Eagle Parkway while the scene was cleared. The road had reopened by 11:20 a.m.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident, which occurred shortly after 10 a.m.

Southbound traffic has resumed in the area.
