Two injured, traffic stalled, after Roosevelt Boulevard crash

LARGO — At least two people were injured in a four-vehicle crash on Roosevelt Boulevard Wednesday evening, authorities said.

It happened at 6:35 p.m. at the intersection with 58th Street. Two people were extricated from vehicles and taken to an area hospital. At least one of the vehicles also struck a pole at the intersection, authorities said.

As of 7 p.m., eastbound traffic on Roosevelt was blocked off as the Florida Highway Patrol investigated, emergency officials said.
