Two motorcyclists seriously injured in Largo crash

LARGO — Two people were seriously injured Monday night after the motorcycle they were on collided with a pickup truck, according to police.

Police said a Yamaha sports motorcycle was traveling south on Seminole Boulevard with no lights on. A Ford pickup, which was traveling north, made a U-turn at the 1200 block of Seminole Boulevard.

The motorcycle struck the passenger side of the truck, throwing off the man who was driving and a female passenger. Largo police responded to the crash about 8:18 p.m.

Both motorcyclists, who were not identified, were wearing helmets.

No other information about the incident was immediately available.
