THONOTOSASSA — A 54-year-old Valrico man died Wednesday afternoon when his car was T-boned on E Hillsborough Avenue.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 1994 Saturn SW driving north on Bethlehem Road about 3:45 p.m. crossed into the path of a 2011 Toyota Scion eastbound on Hillsborough Avenue. The front of the Scion collided with the driver's side of the Saturn, killing the Saturn's driver. Troopers have not released that man's identity.
The Scion driver, 23-year-old Michaelene Lynn Baricska, and the Saturn passenger, 37-year-old Jill Allison Torrence, were taken to Tampa General Hospital with serious injuries.
No charges have been filed.
