Woman dies after being struck twice on Busch Boulevard

TAMPA — A woman trying to walk across E Busch Boulevard was killed Wednesday evening after being struck by two cars, police said.

Police identified her as Kine C. Stegavik, 36, who had no permanent address.

The fatality happened about 6 p.m. near Busch Boulevard and Renfrew Place. Police said Stegavik was trying to cross Busch when she was struck by a Nissan Altima. A second car, a Ford Focus, tried to avoid the crash but struck her also, police said.

She died on the scene.

    TAMPA — After he admitted to shooting two roommates and led police to their dead bodies, Devon Arthurs said he committed the killings to prevent the pair from carrying out terrorist acts, a prosecutor wrote in a court filing.

    Devon Arthurs, 18, told police  he shared neo-Nazi beliefs with his roommates, Jeremy Himmelman and Andrew Oneschuk, until he converted to Islam, according to a police report.
