2 women injured in separate crashes die
Two women involved in separate crashes in Pinellas Park on Tuesday have died.
The crashes occurred only about a half-hour apart.
The first occurred about 10:50 a.m. Tuesday. Pinellas Park police said Michelle B. Tanner, 50, was making a U-turn in the 6400 block of 66th Street when her 1997 Mercury collided with a 2005 Kia driven by Tyler Bonfiglio, 20.
Tanner was thrown from her car. She was taken to an area hospital, where she died Wednesday, police said.
The second crash occurred at 11:19 a.m. Tuesday in the 5600 block of Park Boulevard. Police said a woman who was crossing Park was hit by a GMC Suburban driven by William Wilson, 60. Police said the woman later died. They did not release her name because officers had not yet located her family. The crash is under investigation.
