Woman killed in Riverview crash

RIVERVIEW — A 47-year-old Riverview woman was killed in a crash Saturday night near Big Bend Road and Heritage Green Parkway, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office reported.

Karen Weaver of Tallowood Court was driving west on Big Bend Road about 11:42 p.m. when her Jeep Renegade collided head on with a GMC pick-up truck headed east on Big Bend Road, reports state.

After the impact, both cars hit a 2006 Chevrolet driven by Michael Toolan of Riverview.

Weaver was killed. The driver of the pick-up truck, Paul Parks, of Lithia, suffered incapacitating injuries. Toolan was not injured.

The crash is under investigation.
