Wreck closes I-275 S in Tampa

TAMPA — A wreck on Interstate 275 S left at least one person with serious injuries and temporarily closed the roadway Tuesday night, authorities said.

The crash happened about 8:25 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol. All lanes of I-275 S near the exit for Dale Mabry Highway were blocked until about 9:45 p.m., Tampa police said.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. No further details about the wreck and those injured were immediately available Tuesday night.
