An Amber Alert was canceled early Friday morning for four Bradenton siblings who were taken by their mother, who authorities said does not have custody of the children.

The children, ranging in age from 6 to 12, were found safe at a Hampton Inn in Eufaula, Ala., police said.

Their mother, 40-year-old Jaima Gadeaun, was taken to Eufaula City Jail and is awaiting an extradiction hearing, police said.

Two guests at the Hampton Inn contacted police just after 1 a.m. after recognizing the children — who were playing in the lobby area — through the Amber Alert.

Officers located the vehicle identified in the alert and made contact with Jaima Gadeaun, police said. She was taken into custody without incident.

The children appeared in good health, police said.
