TAMPA — The autopsy report for the University of Florida freshman who died at a Madeira Beach condo in March confirmed that she died of alcohol poisoning.
Molly Ammon, 19, a graduate of Plant High School was on spring break the weekend of March 13. After a night of drinking, her parents' said, Ammon's friends found her dead that Sunday morning.
Authorities would not release an official cause of death until the Medical Examiner's Office completed its examination.
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office investigation into Ammon's death is still open, a spokeswoman said.
