ST. PETERSBURG — An 11-month-old girl found floating in the pool at her family's Citrus Springs home died early Sunday morning at All Children's Hospital, authorities said.

Officials with the Citrus County Sheriff's Office said they received a call from the home at 7801 N Primrose Drive just before 11 a.m. Saturday reporting the baby, Nolee Wilkinson, had been found floating in the pool.

Nolee's mother and grandmother, who were not identified by the Sheriff's Office, found her after discovering the family dog was able to open a door leading to the pool.

The mother and grandmother immediately started CPR before paramedics arrived and took the baby to Citrus Memorial Hospital, the Sheriff's Office said. She was later airlifted to All Children's Hospital.

An investigation is ongoing.
