Bealls manager accused of theft at Port Richey store

PORT RICHEY — A Bealls Outlet assistant manager is accused of stealing more than $2,300 from the store where she worked.

Aimee Louise Mayler, 49, was arrested Friday and charged with retail theft. Mayler processed bogus clothing returns at the store at 9650 U.S. 19 and kept the money, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said. She confessed to the crime and said she did it to pay bills, a report states.

Mayler, of New Port Richey, was released Saturday from the Pasco jail on $5,000 bail.
