NEW PORT RICHEY — Skeletal remains found Sunday by someone out walking have been identified as Jordan Allen Amos, 23, a homeless man, the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said.

The cause of death is still being determined, but the Sheriff’s Office said there appeared to be nothing suspicious about it.

Amos' remains were found about 10:20 a.m. Sunday on a 60-acre parcel of land west of 4300 Barbara Street in New Port Richey.
