82-year-old Plant City man accused of sexually battering two children

PLANT CITY — Police on Thursday arrested an 82-year-old Plant City man they say sexually battered two children last week.

Efrain Rosa Vargas faces charges of sexual battery on a victim under 12 years old, lewd and lascivious molestation on a victim under 12 years old, lewd and lascivious exhibition, lewd and lascivious molestation and showing obscene materials to a minor.

Police say Vargas' arrest comes after he engaged in inappropriate behavior with two minor children on Feb. 15.
