Pinellas County sheriff’s deputies have arrested two men accused of robbing and briefly kidnapping a man in Oldsmar Saturday night.

Chrishaud Montgomery, 17, and Quadre Brown, 21, along with an unnamed third assailant, broke into Oldsmar home of Dwayne Times, 27, Saturday night, deputies said. The three men, wearing masks, held Times at gunpoint, pistol whipped him and "demanded" drugs and money, deputies said.

Times paid the three men, but they weren’t satisfied. Deputies say they led Times out of his home "against his will" and forced him into the back of his car, a 2014 Volkswagen.

In a dramatic escape, Times was able to jump out of the moving vehicle, run down Kilsythe street and alert neighbors to his situation, deputies said. Times called 911 using a neighbor’s phone, and deputies soon tracked down Montgomery, hiding in a pool, and Brown, who was trying to enter a nearby home.

Times was sent to the hospital to get his minor injuries treated.

Montgomery and Brown were each arrested and charged with one count of home invasion robbery and one count of kidnapping. Montgomery was transported to the Pinellas Juvenile Assessment Center and Brown was taken to the Pinellas County Jail.

A third suspect fled the scene before deputies could track him down. The investigation is ongoing, deputies said.
