Nursing assistant arrested on molestation charge, deputies say

HUDSON — A nursing assistant was arrested Sunday on a charge of molestation of an elderly or disabled person, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

Christina Nappo, 51, of Hudson, worked for Consulate Health Care at 8132 Hudson Ave., according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The victim was not identified in the arrest report. The incident took place Saturday at 2:15 a.m.

The report said Nappo knew that the victim, who suffered a brain injury and has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old, was unable to consent.

Nappo was freed Monday from the Pasco County jail after posting $5,000 bail.
