A Tampa man is dead after being stabbed during a domestic dispute at a party.

According to the Tampa Police Department, about 3:30 a.m. Sunday an argument broke out between an unidentified woman and 24-year-old Jayvion Parker at an apartment at 1434 E. Estelle St.

During the course of the argument, the woman’s sister, Waitecia Howard, 26, armed herself with a knife and stabbed Parker in the upper body.

Tampa Police and Tampa Fire Rescue were called to the scene and provided medical attention to Parker. He was then transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

Tampa Police arrested Howard at approximately 8:30 a.m. and charged her with second degree murder.

Parker and Howard shared a residence but were not in a relationship, police said.
