Two male students were arrested Wednesday on charges that they made threats against their respective schools, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

The threats were not credible and neither took steps to carry out those threats, deputies said. Each student faces a felony charge of making a false report involving an explosive or weapon. Their names and ages were not made public.

One student made a threat against Turkey Creek Middle School just after 11:30 a.m., deputies said. He told his teacher, in front of the class, that he was "going to do a Florida round two tomorrow," deputies said.

The second threat was made at Armwood High School just after 3 p.m. by a student at the school bus ramp, the Sheriff's Office said.

The student said he had brought a bomb with him to school and owned a machine gun, witnesses told the Sheriff's Office. He said he would "shoot up the school" and "kill his animals when he got home," the agency said.

Deputies said they found no weapons or explosive on either student. Both were taken to the Hillsborough County Juvenile Assessment Center.
