Amid argument, deputies say, New Port Richey man used stun gun on his mother

Chase Robert Foster, 18, argued with his mother around 4:30 that afternoon. At some point, according to a Pasco Sheriff's report, he shocked her in the arm. Someone called 911.

Foster's mother told deputies she did not hit her son before he shocked her and did not fight back afterward. Foster said he pushed his mother when he left the home, the report states.

As deputies were arresting Foster, the report states, he pulled away and tried to run. A deputy tackled him.

Foster, of 12040 Smokey Lake Loop, was charged with domestic battery and resisting arrest. He remained in Land O'Lakes jail Wednesday in lieu of $150 bail.
