Argument over boyfriends leads to screwdriver attack, Tampa police say

TAMPA — An argument over their boyfriends Tuesday ended with one woman being stabbed with a screwdriver and another arrested by police.

Heather Noel Tillis, 28, of 4422 W Wallace St., pulled the screwdriver during an argument with her neighbor and stabbed the woman in the head at least twice, according to Tampa police.

Police said Amber Gross, 22, was cut on the right side of her face and the top of her head. She was taken to Tampa General Hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries.

Tillis was charged with aggravated battery. The investigation is ongoing.
