DADE CITY
Neighbor, 65, accused of machete attack
Robert Tillman told the people next door to move their car from the road. He said it was blocking his truck, and he couldn't get out.
"I ain't asking nicely," said Tillman, 65, according to the Pasco Sheriff's Office. He walked to his truck, grabbed a machete and started swinging it about midnight Saturday inside Lazy Breeze Mobile Home Park in Dade City, a report states. Two men — brothers, ages 32 and 28 — were hit. One had his hand sliced and needed stitches, a report states, and the other got a minor cut on his shoulder. The men were able to subdue Tillman by punching him several times in the face, authorities said.
Tillman, of 37924 Hillside Lane in Dade City, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and assault. He is in a hospital, still under arrest, recuperating from injuries to his head and hand, the Sheriff's Office said.
