TAMPA — Two of the students suspected in multiple sexual assaults at Walker Middle School were released from jail Thursday morning after being fitted with ankle monitors, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. One suspect, Diemante J. Roberts, 15, remains in jail and has yet to post the required $15,000 bond.
Lee Louis Myers, 14 and Raymond A. Price-Murray, 14 were transferred to the county Work Release Center and escorted home by deputies about 9 a.m., said sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter.
A fourth suspect, Randall John Moye III, 14, was released to his father Wednesday night while the others waited for their homes to be equipped with monitoring equipment, said sheriff's spokesman J.D. Callaway.
The suspects were arrested May 6 and released from juvenile detention the next day under house arrest. On Wednesday, they turned themselves in to face adult charges and pleaded not guilty. They could face 30 years or more in prison if convicted.
Bail for each has been set at $15,000.
