TAMPA — Deputies say Gloria Perez Sales, 41, confessed to a future crime when they arrested her Sunday on a charge of battering her 75-year-old husband.

"It's okay," she said, according to an arrest report. "Next time you're gonna arrest me for murder."

Deputies went to the home at 2413 S 82nd St., Lot 9, after 5 p.m. Sunday. Sales had kicked her husband in the right leg, the report said.

She was charged with domestic violence battery on a person over age 65 — a year after she was released from prison after serving a year for the same charge.

She was released on her own recognizance Tuesday.

In her booking photo, she has a black eye. The report doesn't say how that happened.
