DADE CITY — Two men face charges of aggravated assault with a firearm, false imprisonment and drug possession after they allegedly forced a man into their vehicle at gunpoint late Saturday night.
Chanin Terrel Richardson, 23, of Dade City and Andre R. Pierre-Charles, 19, of Wesley Chapel were arrested Saturday and booked into the Pasco County Jail, where they remained as of Sunday night.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Richardson and Pierre-Charles tracked down the victim to the 38000 block of Dixie Drive in Dade City and pulled in behind him in a 2003 Lincoln Aviator.
Pierre-Charles allegedly got out of the car with a black assault rifle and pointed it at the victim, who wasn't identified in the report. The victim told authorities that Pierre-Charles told him to get inside their vehicle or they would kill him.
The victim got into the vehicle with Pierre-Charles sticking the barrel of the rifle into his back. The vehicle was driven to the dead-end of Bull Run in Dade City with the victim's mother following in her vehicle.
When the vehicle reached the end of Bull Run, the victim was released.
A short time later, deputies stopped the Aviator and detained Richardson and Pierre-Charles. During the subsequent search, deputies say they found a clear plastic bag containing marijuana in the pocket of Pierre-Charles and a small plastic bag of four pills of methylenedioxymethamphetamine in an armrest.
